ABSTRACT

The transition to distance and blended forms of education in most higher education institutions during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic, and then the actions of martial law in Ukraine prompted teachers to create their own electronic educational resources and electronic training courses, with the help of which the content of the academic discipline is transmitted. The article describes approaches to the evaluation of the quality of electronic educational courses. The main structural components of an electronic educational course for higher education institutions are distinguished: technical and technological, normative and organizational, methodical, substantive, result and evaluative, which can be considered factors affecting its quality. It was determined that the technical and technological factor is characterized by the possibility and convenience of installing electronic educational course on PCs and mobile devices, compatibility of electronic educational course with various operating systems availability and quality of instructions for installing/starting electronic educational course, availability of a description of technical characteristics of electronic educational course and contacts of its developer(s). The criteria of the regulatory and organizational factor are normative acts related to the educational course, reviews of the electronic educational course, questionnaires for applicants of higher education and teachers regarding the determination of the quality of the electronic educational course. Features of the methodological block are instructions for the electronic educational course users, methodological materials for students of higher education on the performance of the main types of tasks, methodological recommendations for the electronic educational course teacher, feedback. The content factor is characterized by lecture texts, presentations for each topic, multimedia materials, a terminological dictionary, tasks (practical, interactive, for independent work, creative, research), project works, reference materials, a list of main and additional sources, additional educational materials, a glossary.A basic factor-criterion model for evaluating the quality of an electronic educational course for higher education institutions is proposed, which makes it possible to carry out an objective quantitative assessment of the quality of an electronic educational course and to identify possible shortcomings in order to eliminate them in time, which can be used during the development and evaluation of electronic educational courses for higher education institutions in various academic disciplines.

ABSTRACT

The consequences of the large-scale Covid-19 pandemic have raised the problem of the lack of digital educational content in the natural sciences to ensure the continuity of learning and maintain the quality of the educational process at the proper level in distance learning. The IT industry, which deals with digital educational content, has taken the first steps to improve the visualization of educational content on the pages of textbooks and filled them with augmented reality (AR) objects. The article outlines the problems of teaching students of natural disciplines in institutions of general secondary education, in particular, low interest in studying the subject of physics. Ways to increase the activation of students' learning activities using the latest digital technologies, namely augmented reality, are proposed. The main directions of the study of augmented reality in education are determined, namely: the use of augmented reality in the educational process, professional training and retraining of personnel, social and technical problems, theoretical and methodological foundations, the development of tools to ensure the virtualization of learning, the design of the educational environment and the gamification of learning augmented reality. The tools and software for playing AR in physics for grades 8-11 of educational institutions are described. During the analysis of 160 AR objects, a number of problems were identified that reduce their quality. The authors substantiated a criterion-indicative matrix for determining the quality of AR objects, including such basic criteria as technical and technological, visual-dynamic, content-methodical and ten indicators. It is proposed to determine the quality of AR objects according to four levels of compliance: they do not meet the requirements, they require a thorough revision, they require minor revision, they meet the quality requirements. Promising research on determining the attitude of teachers and students of general secondary education institutions to the introduction of AR technology in educational practice.

ABSTRACT

Technologies based on cloud computing is one of the demanded and actively developing areas of the modern information world. Cloud computing refers to an innovative technology that allows you to combine IT resources of various hardware platforms into a single whole and provide the user with access to them via a local network or the global Internet. Cloud services from various providers offer users access to their resources via the Internet via free or shareware cloud applications, the hardware and software requirements of which do not imply that the user has high-performance and resource-consuming computers. Cloud technologies represent a new way of organizing the educational process and offers an alternative to traditional methods of organizing the educational process, creates an opportunity for personal learning, collective teaching, interactive classes, and the organization of psychological support. The scientific article is devoted to the problem of integrating cloud technologies not only in the process of training highly qualified specialists, but also in the formation of professionally important personality traits. The article describes the experience of introducing cloud technologies into the process of forming the adaptive potential of students in conditions of social constraints caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. © 2020 CEUR-WS.
